Nibble, nosh, sip, and celebrate Salt Lake’s cultural community with chef-driven, locally owned restaurants, craft beverages, and artisan purveyors.
The 10th Annual Eat Drink SLC takes place over two days in the lush grounds of Tracy Aviary. Each night features different food and drink partners, and is accompanied by live music, dance, and other performing art.
Our Mission
Eat Drink SLC raises awareness about Salt Lake’s finest culinary and cultural opportunities. Our vision is to engage patrons with the marriage of food and drink, and share stories about how it evolves, adapts, and innovates. Filled with tastes, art, people, and joy, Eat Drink is a welcoming, inclusive event for all the senses.
Eat Drink is hosted by nonprofit partnership between Tracy Aviary and SB Dance. These two organizations represent, respectively, a place and an arts-maker that contribute to the unique character of our community. 33% of net proceeds supports these two organizations. 66% of proceeds is contributed to a third local nonprofit that works with underserved communities. This community beneficiary has included Women of the World, Neighborhood House, and Race Swami.
By supporting place, arts-making, and community service, Eat Drink SLC’s mission is to honor the entire industry, from customers, business owners, managers, and servers to purveyors and agricultural workers. Since inception, Eat Drink has contributed over $100,000 to Salt Lake County nonprofits.

History
Eat Drink SLC began as a SB Dance fundraiser called Wine Theater Food (WTF, get it?) at the Rose Wagner Center. After moving to Tracy Aviary in 2014 and acquiring a new name, it grew into one of the region’s premier food and libation celebrations. Eat Drink’s success reflects the achievements of many local restauranteurs, distillers, breweries, and producers who collectively transformed Salt Lake into a regional culinary destination. Another key piece of our success are the dozens of family-owned wineries from around the world that provide an international context to the tastes forged here in Utah.
During the pandemic, net proceeds were directed to our restaurant partners. As the crisis diminished, Eat Drink returned as a two-day event in September and proceeds were again donated to local nonprofits. We are grateful for the hundreds of partners, sponsors, volunteers, and patrons that make this event possible. Cheers to the entire Eat Drink community!
