Eat Drink SLC is Salt Lake’s premier food & libation event celebrating the coming of age of Salt Lake as a culinary hot spot

While supporting people, places, and art that make Salt Lake unique.100% of net proceeds support non-profit organizations. This year’s event takes place over two days, featuring some of SaltLake’s best food purveyors and restaurants, and award-winning libations vendors. Our volunteers are critical to the success of the event. We are incredibly grateful for your support in ensuring this is a five-star event for vendors and guests alike.

VOLUNTEER with Eat Drink SLC

To date, Eat Drink SLC has raised over $75,000 for non-profit organizations. Volunteers are crucial to the production of this annual event. As a volunteer, you will be part of the event staff, and part of the Eat Drink SLC family.

You will be busy, and you will be entertained!  We ask that all volunteers commit to working a full shift. All volunteers will receive an Eat Drink SLC shirt and a ticket to the event on the night you are not working.

Types of Support

Event Set up & Break down

Our Event Prep staff will be prepping and setting up the zones on the morning of the event and into the afternoon hours (lunch and hydration will be provided). These staff should be hard-working and not afraid to get their hands dirty.

Our closing staff will support the breakdown of the event.

Ticketing and Check-In staff

Our Ticketing and Check-In staff are the first impressions that our guests have of EDSLC, setting the tone for a lovely evening!

Check-In Staff will assist with checking tickets as guests arrive. They will manage the ticket lines to ensure guests are entering the event in an orderly manner and are greeted with an upbeat, friendly welcome.

Check-In Staff should be outgoing, enthusiastic, and informed individuals.

There will be 1-2 ticketing staff who will remain at the check-in tables until the event is over to assure that a guest hasn’t entered the event unauthorized or is not leaving the event/lingering at the entrance intoxicated.

Most importantly, these staff will thank each departing guest for attending and provide well wishes for them to get home safely.

Welcome Staff

As a check-in staff, you will be the “go-to” for the guests to ensure that they feel welcomed and excited to be entering the event. Guests need to be provided with their complimentary event glassware, base plates, and event booklet.

Zone Managers

Zone Managers will lead the charge in one of two zones at this year’s event. Supported by staff and volunteers, the Zone Manager ensures that vendors needs are attended to as well as guests.

Event Staff

Event Staff are friendly, energetic, enthusiastic individuals with great attention to customer service and attention to detail.

You are part of a team responsible for an assigned section (zone) which includes eat & drink vendors, as well as guests. You are the “go-to” for our vendors, and guests ensuring they have what they need when they need it.

Collectively, you will tackle the job duties a few hours prior to the main event, throughout the main event, and during the cleanup & takedown portion post-event.
